Card Corporation, part of Grasmere Digital Imaging, has clinched a prestigious new e-commerce award. The company beat off a range of other firms to take the ISI/Interforum e-commerce award for the North-east region.

"We are the only true interactive printer." stated Grasmere managing director Tom Stock.

Through a web site customers are able to design and order business cards which are then printed digitally.

"But as for where you can go with the product - well it's blue sky." said Stock.

Card Corporation is now hoping for success at the national final on 17 June. The awards are designed to reward best practice in the use of electronic trading. They are run jointly by the DTI Information Society and InterForum, a not-for-profit organisation that helps British businesses to trade electronically.
